How We Use QPR Asphalt Patch? 4 STEPS

Here we are sharing steps for QPR asphalt repair instructions that will help you to repair cracks and potholes.

Step 1: Clean the Surface

Clean the damaged area properly for any loose material where you have to apply QPR. For applying QPR we don’t need to sweep for the water from the patch because the material can be applied even in water.

Step 2: Pour the Material

You don’t have to do so much hard work to pour the material. Since the material can be compacted even in the water we can simply take the material out from the bag and apply inside the hole. You don’t have to worry about the water or moisture. Add the material deep inside the hole.

Step 3: Spread the Patch Material

Once the material has been applied to the required surface, spreading is needed to be done. When a 2-inch base is there use a spreading tool (tamp) to spread the material evenly into the cracked area. Reapply the material in 2-inch increments, until the cracks are filled.

Step 4: Compact the Surface

Just after the material has been spread, you need to compact the surface to give it strength and smooth driving experience. When cracks are filled, use a wheel roll to provide compaction to the surface. Again do the final wheel rolling for the final compaction to give it strength. Once the surface is compacted open it immediately for the traffic.
